To start on development we recommend to use the ADD1000A. It is now available as regular chip in QFP128. The ADD1000A includes an extended 8051 microcontroller, a MAC and a PLC Modem in a single chip, and some additional functions such as support of three-phase driver.
ADD also provides a communication library (ECSS) in order to make application development based on PLC and RF communication easier. It includes advanced functions such as routing and multi application support.
ADD can also supply reference designs, application notes, developing tools (PLC Development Systems), and control and monitoring software.
