PLC Kit has been designed by Advanced Digital Design S.A. with the purpose of providing the OEM user to start up in the Power Line Communication technology. It contains:

• 2 ADD7200 boards
• 2 null-modem cables
• 2 supply wires
• 2 PLCC32 to FDIP28W EPROM adaptors
• CD-Rom with the user guide

The ADD7200 is the reference prototyping board to test the SoC node for the Power Line Communication technology of ADD. The ADD7200 is a credit cart size board including the reference design to test the ADD1000 IP of ADD. Each ADD7200 board has the following hardware:

• A FPGA configured with the ADD1000 node, that includes a 8051 microcontroller, Medium Access Controller (MAC), a Modem circuit for the EHS Power Line medium specifications and a general purpose sigma-delta ADC.
• 64Kx8bit EPROM in PLCC32 socket.
• 128Kx8bit of static RAM.
• 128Kbit of serial SPI Bus EEPROM.
• Connector 5x2 2.54mm I/O configurable pins.
• Cero crossing detector to phase angel control.
• 1A-220VAC triac controlled output.
• IrDa serial Link.
• 1W 3.3V 2.5V switched and isolated power supply.
